The closest result, and the closest we came to an upset, was the game between the Weaver and the Robin Hood, which the Weaver won by just two points.

We have one C League team left in the Cup: congratulations to the Park Taverners, who beat the Harrington 'B' to progress to the Quarter–Finals. The other seven teams include five from the A League and two from the B League.

As the only A League team in the Plate draw, we probably should consider the Church House Bollington as favourites for this competition. The other seven teams include three from the B League and four from the C League.
The Quarter–Finals will be played on 21 January 2020. The questions will be set by the Sutton Mutton and the Robin Hood. These two teams will provide three question masters each. The Chester Road Tavern and Pack Horse Bowling Club will provide one question master each, to cover the eight games.
