Final:

Question setters: all non–participating teams (compiled by Waters Green Phoenix, Plough Taverners).

Park Tavern 'B' (Walk-over) Harrington Academicals

Unfortunately the Park Tavern 'B' (a team that hasn't played in the League, and only entered the Cup this season) were unable to raise a team for the final.

As an alternative curtain–raiser to the Annual General Meeting, an entertaining game was played between the Academicals and a 'Scratch' team consisting of Alan Hodgson, Rick Davis, Keith Pointon and Glyn Bradley. A pretty nifty team too, and the result was a win for the Scratch team by 109 points to 89.

The game was hosted by Bob Langstaff and scored by Nick Peck, to whom thanks were offered – along with Pete Dykstra for his gallant efforts in trying to assemble a team to represent the Park Tavern 'B'.
