Fixtures and Results: 2001–2 Season – Cup

Round 1: 20 November 2001

Question setters: Castle, Puss in Boots. These teams were asked to provide three question masters between them.

The game at the George & Dragon and the one hosted by CAP were drawn as the ones whose losing teams would set questions for Round 2.

Round 2: 18 December 2001

Question setters: Rising Sun 'A', Macclesfield Cricket Club. All three losing teams from Round 1 – these two plus the Wharf – were asked to provide four questions masters each. Four more question masters were required, and teams taking part in Round 2 were asked to provide question masters if possible.

Naming and Shaming

In the event, this was described as "a bit of a shambles from a Question Master point of view". Thanks were extended to the following teams, who provided question masters for their own games:

British Flag, George & Dragon 'B', Ivy House, Ox–fford, Prince Albert, and Sutton Club.

The games at the Ox–fford and the Travellers Rest were drawn as the ones whose winning teams would set questions for Round 1 of the Plate.

Round 3: 19 February 2002

Question Setters: Railway View, George & Dragon 'A'. These two teams, along with the Travellers Rest, were asked to provide four question masters each (for the Cup and Plate).

As there were only three teams not playing this week, and 16 games being played, teams taking part in games were asked to provide question masters if possible.
