Fixtures and Results: 2000–1 Season - Cup

Round 1: 7 November 2000

Question setters: Star Inn, The Crown. These teams were asked to provide three question masters between them.

Round 2: 28 November 2000

Question setters: Church House, Cock Inn.

The games at the Wharf and the Railway View were drawn as those whose winning teams would set the questions for Round 1 of the Plate (to be played on 16 January 2001).

Round 3: 6 February 2001

Question setters: Rising Sun 'A', Chester Road Tavern. These two teams, along with the Nags Head 'B', were asked to provide four question masters each (for the Cup and Plate).

As there were only three teams not playing this week, and 16 games being played, teams taking part in games were asked to provide question masters if possible.

The game played at the Sutton Club was drawn (along with one game from the Plate) as one of two whose losing teams would be asked to set questions for the quarter–finals.

Quarter–Finals: 6 March 2001

Question setters: Sutton Club, George & Dragon 'A'. These teams, along with the Plough Pioneers, were asked to provide three question masters each for the eight Cup and Plate games.

CAP's game against the British Flag was drawn (along with one from the Plate) as one of the games whose losing teams would be asked to set questions for the semi–finals.

Semi–Finals: 27 March 2001

Question setters: British Flag, Ivy House. These two teams were also asked to provide two question masters each for the Cup and Plate semi–finals.

Final: Wednesday 9 May 2001

Question setters: all non–participating teams (compiled by CAP and George & Dragon 'B').
